DELIVERY INFORMATION

Online purchases are subject to a postage and packaging charge, the price of which depends on the purchase value and the shipping address. All UK orders are insured and sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery, and other countries are shipped with Royal Mail International Tracked.

International delivery is the responsibility of the postal service in the destination country and Ruby Taglight LDN cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by the local country postal service or customs checks. Any customs charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. You will be provided with a tracking number for your order when it gets dispatched.

Delivery time varies depending on the piece. For ready to ship pieces, we endeavour to deliver within 2-5 working days within the UK, and 5-12 working days for other countries. For made to order pieces, Ruby will keep you updated on the timings of your piece.


PLATED ITEMS

All Ruby Taglight LDN gold vermeil pieces are hard gold plated, meaning they have at least three microns of gold plating layers on top of sterling silver. Each plated piece of jewellery arrives with a care guide, outlining the best possible ways to ensure the longevity of your piece. Gold plating is semi-permanent, and as a result we cannot estimate how long the plating will last, as this depends on how you individually wear your jewellery. If your piece needs to be replated within the first year of purchase, this is offered at no charge. The price thereafter of replating/repolishing your piece will be around £30 plus any return postage (UK £7.50, International £15).


BESPOKE ORDERS

A bespoke service is offered allowing customers to have entirely unique items designed and made especially for them by Ruby. This service is limited to original designs that capture the ethos of the brand only. Turn around times for bespoke orders are usually 8-14 weeks, once the design is approved, dependent on the individual design, although some pieces may take longer. Quotes on bespoke orders are valid for 15 days and we reserve the right to change prices prior to confirmation of order depending on the fluctuation of material costs such as precious metals. The deposit on a bespoke piece is a confirmation and approval of the agreed upon design. Any alterations must be raised within a week of the deposit. Special circumstances are done of a case by case basis, with an option of being updated on any wax carvings, in order to make adjustments. Once a wax carving has been cast into metal, no major changes can be made. Ruby Taglight LDN reserves the right to decide what changes are acceptable to make. All bespoke orders are final and cannot be returned or refunded, with no exceptions, unless the piece is structurally faulty.


CANCELLATION POLICY

A bespoke or customised order cannot be changed or cancelled once your deposit has been paid. This is your agreement and commitment to the order.

 

SALES AND RETURNS

We hope that you will be absolutely delighted with your Ruby Taglight LDN jewellery. If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we will be happy to offer an exchange within 15 days of delivery. This includes existing design pieces that have been made to order with the bespoke options provided. If you decide to add a bespoke option that is not in the options listed online, this piece will be regarded as a commissioned piece, and will therefore not be eligible for a refund or exchange. If you do wish to return an item, please contact Ruby within the 15 days of receiving the item. The customer is responsible for the postage of returning items, and a refund will be given upon receiving the item unworn and in the same condition as it was when it was sent out. Ruby Taglight LDN is unable to accept responsibility for the non-arrival of returned goods and therefore it is recommend that UK items be sent back by insured special delivery. Please note that the cost of shipping, including the cost of the returning postage, is not refundable. If you would like to exchange your piece, please notify Ruby within the 15 day return grace period, and discuss this with her directly.


Commissioned pieces are exempt from both the refund and exchange policies, unless they are structurally faulty.


SIZING 

Please make sure to provide us with the correct ring size when placing your order. If you do not know your desired ring or bracelet size, please contact Ruby and she will send you guidance and a complimentary ring sizer.
When ordering rings online it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they have ordered the correct size. Ruby Taglight LDN will happily re-size a ring once free of charge, but any further re-sizing will incur a charge of £30 per ring, not including cost of delivery both ways. If a gold plated ring needs to be resized, the same fee applies, plus an additional re-plating charge, which depends on the size of the piece- this is discussed individually.


PAYMENT TERMS

For bespoke and customised orders we require a 40% deposit as confirmation of your order before production can begin. At this point you will be committed to purchase. The remainder will then need to be paid in full before collection or dispatch of the order. Payment can be made by debit card, credit card or bank transfer, paypal, or over the phone. Goods remain the property of Ruby Taglight LDN until paid for in full.
