Dissecting myths into creatures and symbols, the tale is told over the entire piece. You must interact with the story to unlock parts of the narrative, each detail revealing part of the whole. Working with the ancient process of lost wax casting, each section is hand carved out of wax. The deliberate act of casting each form into metal unfurls the story, one chapter at a time. My aim is to give the chosen narratives a renewed purpose in our daily lives, through the use of the objects they adorn. Interacting with the function of the pieces, we are connecting with the stories on a personal level; turning a key, pulling a handle, the opening of a lid.
